TVI Faculty members Mark Rudd and Alan Pope prepare to get out the vote in the 2001 Governing Board Election.

Endorsed by COPE, Charles Haycox won the contested election to represent the district including Rio Rancho and a portion of the Westside. Haycox is a Bernalillo County Deputy Sheriff, lifelong Rio Rancho resident, and an active community volunteer.

All the TVI Governing Board candidates endorsed by COPE in the February 2001 election won seats on the Board.
